The First Game of Thrones Season Eight Episode Four Photos Show the Aftermath of the Battle

For those of us who could see what the hell was happening in the Battle of Winterfell, we know that a lot of people died in defeating the Night King and his army. But, the humans won in the end at a great cost. Jorah is dead. Same with Lyanna Mormont and Theon Greyjoy. Now, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen need to set their sights toward the South, where Cersei has comfortably enjoyed passionless sex with Euron Greyjoy and amassed a huge army that includes the feared Golden Company. We’re not out of the woods yet, folks!

Here’s a look at what’s to come in Game of Thrones with these first photos of Season Eight Episode Four.

Here we see Team Jon and Team Dany going to burn their dead. A smart move considering what they’ve been through. But, why not use the dragons for that rather than those very small torches??

Dany actually looking pretty happy here, all things considered.

Here we see some Targaryen ships sailing toward … somewhere? Most likely to King’s Landing it would seem.

It’s very likely Episode Four will open with a big funeral to mourn the dead—meaning we’ll all have to cry for Jorah again.

And here are the Starks mourning their dead, and Bran doing whatever Bran does.

Jon looks bummed, but in pretty good shape, considering he stupidly fell off his dragon then just screamed in the face of a zombie dragon.

Looks like they’re beginning right away to plan for the invasion of King’s Landing.

The hottest new couple in Westeros: Euron Greyjoy and Cersei Lannister.
